Round Up

As we enter July, the new season is fast approaching and with it comes a new era of excitement and anticipation.  Will this season be our year for promotion?  Well, if you believe what the press are saying, we are going to see a mass exodus of players from the Vic and there are no signs of any new players arriving.

AB has gone on record saying we will change our style of play this season and stated he will bring players in who can do the business.  I am sure we all have our fingers crossed that he gets it right in the transfer market and brings in some passionate youngsters who can take the Championship by storm.

Ellington has gone on record saying his time at Watford was the worst of his career and he did not enjoy being the subject of the Vicarage Road Boo Boys.  Well Mr Ellington, after costing a club record $4.5M, I think its fair to say that the Vicarage Road faithfull expected far more than what we got.  All the best at Derby, but your career is doomed unless you put in some effort.

I firmly believe that we will compete for honours this season and although a top two position would be nice, I think we will gladly settle for a play off spot once again.

On the other hand, I also firmly believe Hull will be embarrassed this year smashing Derby's lowest points total in the process.

Enjoy the pre-season friendlies.

Who was Watford's Greatest Player

Austria or Australia?

The boys are off to Austria for a pre-season training camp this week.

Now how many of us thought or wished it was Australia??

Maybe we can convince AB to come down here next season eh?
